Bentonville, AR · Nationwide Availability

Built for the Ozarks.
Engineered for the Terrain.

Premium heavy construction, terrain engineering, and structural builds. Rooted in Northwest Arkansas. Available wherever the ground demands expertise.

We build with the land, not against it.

Home & Soil was founded by Drew Caywood and John Pike in Bentonville, Arkansas — the heart of the Ozarks and the center of NWA's construction boom.

We grew up on this terrain. Limestone shelves, shifting clay, rocky grades that punish lazy preparation. Northwest Arkansas's trail culture and mountain biking roots shaped how we approach every project — with respect for the land and the expertise to make it work.

That terrain-first philosophy travels with us. Whether it's a hillside build in Bella Vista or a travel project across state lines, the approach is the same: read the ground, plan smart, build to last.

Ozark Heritage

Born and raised in Bentonville. We know this terrain because we grew up working it.

II

Owner-Operated

Drew and John are on every project. Start to finish, one crew, full accountability.

III

National Reach

NWA home base, but we travel for projects that need real terrain expertise.

Core Services

What We Build

Heavy construction and terrain work. No lawn care. No maintenance. Just the work that shapes land and holds weight.

01

Dirt Work & Site Development

Full-scale excavation, precision grading, land clearing, and drainage engineering. We prepare sites that hold — proper compaction, proper grade, no cutting corners on what goes under the build.

02

Concrete & Structural Flatwork

Foundations, slabs, driveways, and structural pours. Reinforced and built to spec. We handle the subgrade, the forms, and the pour — one team, one standard of quality, zero excuses.

03

Remodeling & Structural Builds

Load-bearing modifications, additions, and structural renovations. Not cosmetic flips — real engineering work that holds weight, passes inspection, and doesn't require callbacks.

04

Outdoor Construction

Pergolas, patios, retaining walls, fire features, and outdoor kitchens. Engineered for Ozark slopes and built to outlast Arkansas weather. Structures that stay anchored on rocky, sloped terrain.

Our Process

From Dirt to Done

Four steps. No surprises. No scope creep. No excuses.

Site Walk

We walk the property together. Assess terrain, soil, drainage, and challenges. Talk through what you need — honestly, not salesfully.

Plan & Scope

Detailed written scope, clear pricing, realistic timeline. Everything approved before a single piece of equipment rolls in.

Build Phase

One crew, one point of contact. From excavation through final build — managed under one roof. No sub-juggling, no blame games.

Final Walkthrough

We walk the completed project together. Every detail inspected. Every concern addressed. We don't call it done until you do.

The Difference

Why Home & Soil

Ozark-Born Expertise

We grew up here. Limestone, clay, steep grades — it's home terrain. That deep knowledge means smarter solutions and fewer costly surprises.

Terrain-First Philosophy

Every project starts with the ground. We read the land, assess soil and drainage, and plan the build around what the terrain tells us.

Heavy Iron, Expert Operators

Excavators, skid steers, compactors — and the operators who know exactly how to use them on difficult Ozark-grade terrain.

Premium Finish Quality

Dirt work and heavy construction don't have to look rough. We grade to precision, pour clean, and build structures with a high-end finish.

Full-Scope, One Crew

From initial excavation to the final walkthrough — one team, one timeline, one point of responsibility. No coordination nightmares.

Travel-Ready, Nationwide

Rooted in NWA, available everywhere. When the project is right and the terrain is challenging, we bring our expertise to wherever the job is.
